Family Covered Dish Dinner and Game Night
Saturday - March 15th from 5:00PM to 8:30PM
Come and join your friends for a night of playing board games and fellowship. This is a fun night for everyone - no matter what age, there will be something for you to do. You are encouraged to bring games, but please put your name on them, as there may be duplicates. We will have all kinds of games available for anyone who wants to come. This includes everyone. This is a church family night of fun. The Family Covered Dish Dinner and Game Night will take place in Fellowship Hall and we will supply paper plates, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. If you prefer, you can bring your own plates if you do not want to use paper. This will be a night of fun for all, so we are trying to keep clean up to a minimum. Please call the church office at 661-5151 ext. 201 before Friday, March 14th so we know you are coming.

Maundy Thursday Soup and Bread Supper and Holy Communion
Thursday - April 1st at 6:30PM in Fellowship Hall
Maundy Thursday offers an opportunity for the celebration of the Lord's Supper at an hour when, perhaps the associations are most fraught with meaning and responsive feeling. The name by which the day is identified is a corrruption of the Latin word "mandatum" meaning mandate; and refers to Christ's new commandment "that ye love one another," found in John 13:34.
We will celebrate this most important Christian Observance around tables with a soup and bread supper.
Please call the church office at 661-5151 ext. 201 to make your reservation. Volunteers are needed to make soup, set up and cleanup. Please let us know if you can help.

"FEARLESS" - A Study for Lent
This year's Lenten study will be entitled "Fearless" by Max Lucado. The study addresses the many fears that we face in our lives and how we deal with them in the gathered Christian Community. The study will be led by Reverend Lange and will meet on Wednesday evenings from March 3rd through March 24th at 7:30PM.
Max Lucado, a well known Chrisitan writer, has offered the following description of the study... "Each sunrise seems to bring fresh reasons for fear. They're talking layoffs at work, slowdowns in the economy, flareups in the Middle East, dowturns in the housing market, upswings in global warming and terrorism. Fear it seems has taken up a hundred-year leases on the building next door. Imagine your life untouched by fear. What if faith, not fear, was your reaction to threats?"
If this description speaks to you, you are invited to attend the study. Please contact the church office at 631-661-5151 if you are interested in attending.
