The Chancel Choir (pictured above), under the able
direction of organist Neil O'Connell (left), performs at all regular Sunday
9:30 AM services. This is the adult choir of the church made up of high
schoolers and adults who enjoy singing modern and classic sacred music.
The Christmas Candlelight, 11 PM Christmas Eve, Easter Sunday Morning
and Choir Sunday Service in the spring are all very special musical events
at our church. If you love to sing please join us any Thursday evening
around 7:30 PM in our second floor rehearsal room in the church school
building.

We have two wonderful children's choirs directed
by our Matt & Melissa Halverson. The Asbury Choir pictured at right
and the Wesley/Epworth Choir pictured below perform at special services
throughout the year.

Established 1869
The
organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women
whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons
through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and
to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries
of the church.

Established 1981
Helping
men to grow in Christ, so others can know Christ.
It's no secret. Almost twice as many
women as men belong to United Methodist Churches, and the absence of men
affects the spiritual health of families, congregations and communities.
Assisted by your gifts to the World Service
Fund, the General Commission on United Methodist Men is trying to change
that statistic. One way is by providing resources and sponsoring retreats
that enable men to touch lives for Jesus Christ.
Concerned about future generations, we
help churches to reach youth through Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire,
4-H and Big Brothers/ Big Sisters. In partnership with the Society of
Saint Andrew, United Methodist Men annually provide nearly 10 million
pounds of food for hungry people in the United States. We support the
Upper Room Prayer LIne that receives 36,000 calls a month. The commission
sent 350,000 copies of Strength fo Service to God and Country, a book
of daily devotions, to U.S. troops. Every one of these examples illustrates
your World Service dollars in mission!
The Babylon UMM meets for breakfast at
the Delphi Diner, 350 Montauk Ave., West Islip, on the second Sunday of
the month at 9:30am. Join us for a morning of fellowship.

We currently offer
two opporunities for Bible study:
Tuesday evenings
at 6:45 PM with Rich Santoro as facilitator
Monday mornings
at 10 AM with Mark Gafney as facilitator
Please feel free
to come - no enrollment is required. Just come with your Bible (any translation
will do). If you do not have a Bible we will provide one for you.
We generally study
a portion of a book or a passage and then have an open discussion in an
attempt to learn more about God's word.
A special Disciple
Bile Study Program is also offered - please contact the church office
for details. (631) 661-5151.
All sessions are
in the education building library... And yes, the library is air-conditioned
during the summer months!

and the disciples through various activities. They have classtime as well
as attending music, art and recreation. Snack is served. On the last day
