Reverend Raymond F. Lange, a native New Yorker, has been the pastor of the Babylon United Methodist Church since July 1999. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY New Paltz and a Master of Divinity Degree from the Drew University School of Theology. Before coming to Babylon, Rev. Lange has served churches in Orange and Westchester Counties as well as the Sea Cliff United Methodist Church in Nassau county. Rev. Lange understands his ministry at the Babylon United Methodist Church to be that of empowering the laity to be the church in the world today. Following the example of Christ, emphasis is put on encouraging church members to care for one another, to participate in the ministries of the church and to reach out to meet the needs of our neighbors here and around the world.
